About Us

Owners Nancy Lerner, Linda Elliott, and David Lerner are proud to own Memorial Drive Tire & Auto and be a special part of this great West Houston community.

They have come to love the fact that MDTA, or “Memorial Goodyear” as it is also referred to, is known as a community standard and a true mainstay auto shop in the area.

They are honored to have one of the best and well-qualified crews in the Energy Corridor area to provide you with prompt, dependable, trustworthy service.

Our history

Memorial Drive Tire & Auto has been near the corner of Memorial Drive and Dairy Ashford for over 38 years. Nancy, Linda, and David bought the business in June 2011 and invested in up-to-date equipment, software diagnosing programs, and quality services that they felt would enhance the auto repair experience at their shop.

As a testament to their success, their closest competitor, Sandy Theocharidis, owner of Memorial Citgo for 35 years, made a huge decision when he decided to retire and sell his shop and land in 2013.

He was determined to give his loyal customers the best advice possible for where to go for their car service needs. Sandy was so confident in our ability to provide quality automotive care that he took it upon himself to send out over 4,400 personal letters to each of his long-standing customers, telling them to come to us with his strong recommendation.

We took that to heart, hired his lead technician and continued on our path to improve our auto repair experience for old and new customers.

From day one it has been our primary goal to exceed your expectations and create a hassle-free auto repair experience.

It is still our goal today, as we want you to think of us as the ONLY destination for high-quality auto repair, personalized service, and rapid time-saving convenience.

We look forward to serving you and your family.
